學生必須謹慎的選擇推薦函的撰寫者

以下提供三個參考的選擇要點

1.對方是否對你有足夠的了解，並且能夠詳盡地以具說服力的方式寫出?

2.對方是否會及時寫出來並準時寄出?

3.對方是否會讚揚你?

學校通常比較樂見你的工作表現與學習狀況熟知的雇主或教授所寫的推薦函。

In order to achieve the highest grades and my deepest respect, she has demonstrated ( ) and maintained ( ). The academics at ( ) High School are most challenging, and ( ) fulfilled all the requirements with the added challenge of ( ). [有honors, advanced course的時候] ( ) is an outstanding ( ) and ( ). She has won many awards on the ( ), and qualified for ( ). Success in these ( ) activities requires ( ) and ( ). [態度,努力,能力等]

這個範例只是提供參考用，填入必要資訊後，請自行再仔細的讀過一遍，修改掉不完善的地方後再請同學或老師查看。

建議是寫完初稿之後，

利用"Grammarly"(點擊進入)這個免費網站做文法的初步修訂，這個網站只需要註冊就可以使用，免費的就已經很好用，當然也可以付費升級。

另外也建議可以用付費真人修改網站，一次都不貴，但是可以用native speaker的角度去修改，推薦的網站是這個service scape(點擊進入)

付費的方式是用信用卡，並且是以頁數計費，

但是缺點就是因為真人修改，所以需要給他幾天的工作日，如果是很急的需求的話，就不推薦真人修改。

我記得我上次用是等了5天才拿到。但真的修改得很自然，也改的蠻多，就不會像是一般死板板的框架寫作。

老師寫完推薦函不一定會給學生看，有些老師傾向彌封它，這是正常的現象。

如果審視自己的推薦信並發現有批評，也不要太感到失望，因為一封卓越的信中，弱點也可以成為優點。

例如:如果說漢娜有任何缺點，那就是他花了太多時間在課外活動上。然而，仍然可以看到她的成績是多麼優秀。

If he has any fault, it is adding enhancements to assignments, doing more than what was asked.

In summary, he is a tremendous asset to management, and will surely rise rapidly in any organization in which he is employed.

指出申請者的小小的錯誤，可以顯得推薦函寫作的客觀態度，並且預估申請人未來的生涯成就。

(範文二)

It is my pleasure to write a letter on behalf of (申請人姓名), who is an applicant for the (交換計畫) program of (申請人想要申請的學校)  University.

(申請人姓氏) graduated summa cum laude from (大學或是高中) two years ago, representing the top 1 percent student in Taiwan.

Her curiosity and quest for excellence impressing me.

(申請人姓氏)  completed her graduate thesis with a scholarship given by the Ministry of Science & Technology three years ago.

(申請人姓氏) is a charismatic student and attending musical stages often.

With her affinity, she can always cooperate well with others and make a perfect performance show.

I found her had no trouble participating in group cooperation.
Her academic success also impresses me.

She has the ability to apply her knowledge to legal issues. (這邊理工科可以寫 做實驗的能力)

Moreover, she deals with problems in a logical way. 
Clearly, this remarkable young woman is an excellent choice for this program.

Due to the reasons above, (申請人姓名) has my highest recommendation to be an exchange student representing (申請人在學學校) University.
